Approximately 15% to 20% of the population of the United States are affected by a Language Processing Disorder. These processing challenges affect reading, writing, math and other forms of written expression.
As a parent of a child who struggles with these issues or an adult who continues to have challenges, it has become increasingly difficult to get to the root of the problem. Challenges of written expression include difficulty with reading, writing and/or math calculations which can lead to frustration and negative behaviors.
Many of the spatial, multi directional and multi sensory brain processing tasks students do daily in our program have a tremendous impact on changing the way people with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia or other challenges of written expression actually think, decode or encode language and mathematical skills.
HELP's Brain Power Program can help students with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Dysgraphia develop:
- spatial awareness
- proper letter and number formation
- reading and writing comprehension
- math concept fluency
- spelling proficiency
